Software There are plenty of software packages which create web pages and you do not have to know a thing about HTML. However it is is best that you do know HTML and eventually when you know what you are doing you may want to make things easy by using a "web authoring" package. Do remember that web authoring software does not create wonderful web pages with exciting images. You still need vision and imagination for that. Software can only do what you ask it to do. And images for your web pages are not created by these software pakages. You will need to learn a bit about scanning, creating and altering images with graphics editors Text editors and HTML editors:
