About
this meeting:
With your busy schedule, you may not have had an opportunity to attend
every meeting last year or perhaps you've just joined the Society and
have just one under your belt. You may, therefore, recognize only a
few faces each time you attend. The Board would like to help change
that - but we need your help!
Starting with the July event, six lucky members
will have an opportunity to plan and host an INS monthly meeting - all
by themselves.
Yes
- that's right!
From
selecting a topic, inviting guest speakers, to welcoming attendees at
the door - you will make a difference this year.
The
objective is to introduce members to one another through smaller groups.
By collaborating on a project such as this, they will quickly build
up relationships with the others on the team, and hopefully enjoy the
experience!
We
hope to select three newer members and pair them with three others who
have been involved for some time. Under the watchful eye of Board member,
Sheila Farragher-Gemma, the
team will be given plenty of time to prepare for the event, and by working
with the rest of the Board get great publicity done to make it their
evening.
If
you can't wait to be nominated and want to be on the first "Member-Meeting"
team, please email Sheila at sheila@shamrocktonerink.com.
Details will be announced later this Spring on who will be on the team.
We hope that its success will lead to similar events later in the year.
Good luck!
