Named after Mr. Dooley, the fictional narrator in Finley Peter Dunne's journalistic masterpiece, Mr. Dooley's Tavern, located at 77 Broad Street in Boston's Financial District, is a favorite meeting place for journalists, politicians and young Irish professionals. Monday Nights at Mr Dooley's - Charades. Originally invented in France in the 18th century, the pantomime game became America's famous party game after going through some modifications.
